MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; The Off-Road Diesel Tech Associate Instructor is responsible for providing in-person individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field. Areas of instruction include engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, clutch and transmissions, hydraulics, hydrostatic transmissions, drivetrains and axles, frame and suspension systems, steering systems, brake systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Students receive instruction in diagnostics, system analysis, disassembly, replacing defective parts, reassembling, etc. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates. The Associate Instructor must maintain good public relations with business and industry, participate in advisory committee meetings and cooperate with outside agencies. This position will also supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. Some travel may be required. This position is full-time and reports to the Vice President of Academics and Compliance. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is not a remote work position.
SALARY:&nbsp; $55,983-$67,181 ($28.71-$34.45 per hour) Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines and directly related experience.

General Duties: The Computer Information Technology Associate Instructor at the Northwest Correctional Complex is responsible for instructing rehabilitation and correctional students in vocational training to prepare them to re- enter the job market in the Computer Information Technology industry. This position provides theory and hands-on skills instruction to students in areas including, but not limited to troubleshooting, system architecture and protocols, software applications, programming, hardware assembly and repair, backup strategies, networking and configuring computers and related peripheral devices. The instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual students’ progress; maintain appropriate documentation of student progress; submit timely reports; and maintain close communication with correctional personnel and TCAT Northwest administration. Applicants selected for an interview will be required to tour the Northwest Correctional Complex.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience according to the Tennessee Board of Regents and Tennessee College of Applied Technology guidelines.

Title: Instructor, Industrial Process Control Technology – 9/10 Month (Term) - Humphreys County Campus
POSITION SUMMARY This is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Industrial Process Control Technology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold office hours. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated course syllabi prior to the first day of class. NCCER certification or four years’ industry experience in industrial process control technology

College-level teaching experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated understanding of the community college mission and needs of student populations. Practical application and industrial craft experience.
