Job Summary
The Manager of Accounts Receivable is a full-time, fiscal year appointment reporting to the Executive Director Business Services. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of student refunds, cash management and the reconciliation of student grants (Federal, State and private); oversees collections; documenting financial processes to include policies and procedures and internal control documentation; and identifying and implementing necessary internal control improvements to ensure efficiency. This position requires a work schedule of 37.50 hours per week. The manager may, on occasion, work some evenings and weekends as needed; have the ability to travel between two (2) main campuses, and site locations if needed.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors.</li>
<li>Manage the day-to-day operational flow of Accounts Receivable.</li>
<li>Ensure all collection procedures occur timely, including collection agency returns.</li>
<li>Mange the annual accounts receivable write-off to the State of TN.</li>
<li>Review appeal recommendations.</li>
<li>Maintain current reconciliation of student grants.</li>
<li>Ensure contracts are billed timely.</li>
<li>Oversee processing of third-party authorizations to student accounts.</li>
<li>Oversee preparation, reconciliation and distribution of vendor invoices for student and non-student charges.</li>
<li>Ensure all current operating procedures are documented and comply with Tennessee Board of Regents guidelines and Federal, State and Local regulations.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely research and response to student complaints.</li>
<li>Ensure invoices for vendor payments for external collection are accurate and timely.</li>
<li>Oversee timely and thorough research of payments presented for processing.</li>
<li>Research problems and assist students regarding their accounts.</li>
<li>Support the Athletic Department to ensure coverage of ticket sales during Basketball Season.</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college

<li>Three (3) years of recent experience in financial aid, accounting, auditing, collections or finance.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Operations and Finance division is responsible for the financial, procurement &amp; administrative services that support agency-wide operations. The Operation and Finance division consists of the following units: (1) Support &amp; Logistics, (2) Financial Services, and (3) Procurement and Contract Management. Support &amp; Logistics provides CFB staff with general administrative support functions and guidance regarding administrative processes such as staff reimbursement, petty cash, business cards, etc. Responsible for the agency’s space management, assisting with CFB events, physical infrastructure, building maintenance and emergency services. JOB DESCRIPTION The Receptionist/Facilities Assistant reporting to the Director, Support &amp; Logistics, will be responsible for providing coverage to the CFB reception area/s, assisting with CFB events and other facilities &amp; administrative tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Primary Receptionist for the Campaign Finance Board - Answer phones &amp; direct inquiries from the public to the appropriate department - Maintain daily sign-in sheets for all visitors and CFB staff that do not have an ID - Enter visitors request into lobby security and/or building Sharry’s computer system - Provides daily updates to the CFB Receptionist Microsoft Team Channel - Assist with shredding sensitive documents deemed no longer useful or necessary to retain - Accept, track, sort, scan &amp; distribute incoming mail (particularly invoices and enforcement checks) &amp; packages - Attend all training related to DCAS/EEO/DEI and other courses - Serve as Fire Warden/Deputy Fire Warden/Searcher during drills or emergency actions - Assist with setting up re-organizing furniture, setting up rooms, decorating or other assign tasks for CFB events such as EEO/DEI promoted events. - Assist on other projects as needed ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES &amp; OTHER BEHAVIORS (KSAOs) We're seeking individuals eager to make an impact, even if they don't tick every box on our job description. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS These are qualifications that would be helpful but are not essential.
