Job Summary
The College of Nursing (CON) at the University of Kentucky is seeking an Administrative Services Assistant to join our team! This position will provide comprehensive human resources, payroll, and office support for the business office and the CON Research Nursing Department.
The role will manage the full employee life cycle for staff on several state Medicaid grants, including onboarding, payroll administration, and cost distribution management, while ensuring compliance with College, University, and regulatory policies. In addition, the role will function as a time administrator for biweekly and monthly payroll for grant-funded staff.
The position will support the entire CON with the hiring and time management of temporary, STEPS, and student positions.
As the College of Nursing continues to grow, this position will be integral in serving as backup support for the HR Director, Payroll Specialist, and Business Office operations as needed.

Preferred Education/Experience
Experience working in an HRIS system (e.g. SAP, Workday, etc.) and processing payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Ability to handle confidential information.
