Job Summary

The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment Department of Animal and Food Sciences seeks an Administrative Support Associate I. This position works closely with the Business Officer and is an integral part of the Department’s Business Office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

In this role duties, include but are not limited to: prepare reconciliations for the department, to include cost centers and grants, as well as unit inventories for asset tracking; manage account documentation for completed transactions including filing, copying, and annual document destruction requests; coordinate monthly collection of animal unit inventories; support twice-annual animal sales requests to Surplus Property; collection and processing of transaction receipts, packing slips, invoices, and any other documentation; purchasing and payment processing.
