Job Summary
The Onboarding Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for new hires from offer acceptance through day-one readiness. This position delivers a concierge-level onboarding experience by guiding new hires through onboarding requirements, proactively resolving barriers to employment, and ensuring all pre-employment and onboarding activities are completed accurately, compliantly, and on time.
Using iCIMS and related HR technologies, the Onboarding Specialist manages onboarding workflows, monitors completion of pre-employment screenings, Form I-9 requirements, background checks, drug screens, motor vehicle record reviews, and other employment prerequisites. This position partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, payroll, HR Operations, and departmental stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition into employment while maintaining a strong focus on service excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Three years of experience in human resources, onboarding, customer service, recruiting operations, shared services, or related administrative functions.

Preferred Education/Experience
Experience in working within a Human Resources Department specifically coordinating pre-employment screening requests.
