Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and over 50lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects 10-25lbs; communicate and work cooperatively with staff, faculty and applicants from diverse backgrounds; abide by University guidelines; maintain confidentiality; prioritize and manage work effectively; provide exceptional customer service; complete work with interruptions; ensure work is detailed, accurate and completed in a timely manner; perform work in a sedentary position, utilizing computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone the majority of the day; and work successfully in a team as well as independently.

Job Summary

The role oversees employee education and benefits administration across university programs. Its responsibilities span program processing, customer support, compliance, reconciliation, and enrollment accuracy. • Employee and Family Education Programs carry weights of 30% and 15%, covering eligibility checks, billing coordination, ProSam waivers or discounts, refunds, databases, and taxable tuition reporting. • Customer service carries 20%, while reconciliation duties carry 20% and include journal vouchers, benefits reports, payroll eligibility, Section 125 and Affordable Care Act compliance, dependent audits, and flexible spending reviews. • New enrollment-checking duties carry 15% and cover dental, vision, health, flexible spending, retirement, and life plans across SAP and Direct Bill.
