
Analyst, U.S. Merchant Marketing Loyalty & Servicing
Job Description
The Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) organization is responsible for managing relationships with millions of Merchants and Partners around the world that facilitate American Express acceptance and enabling the day-to-day operations of our company’s payment network.
The newly created U.S. Merchant Marketing, Global Marketing Execution & Analytics (UMGEA) team is responsible for leveraging marketing and analytics capabilities to drive sustainable growth through customer, partner, and product insights that inform the merchant value proposition, channel strategy, and investment optimization, while leveraging the full range of enterprise assets and partnerships for GMNS customers and ensuring we remain compliant as a network.
The Analyst, U.S. Merchant Marketing Loyalty & Servicing will play a key role in supporting the development of multi-channel go-to-market strategies, leading campaign execution, and supporting the implementation of innovative ideas into new and existing initiatives to improve performance and support team goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end execution for the Merchant eNewsletter and select Servicing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of a seamless and compliant merchant marketing experience
- Lead the campaign creative development process, serving as the day-to-day contact for creative agency partners, managing timelines, providing actionable feedback and driving stakeholder alignment
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape audience, value messaging, and test strategies that strengthen campaign effectiveness and the Merchant experience
- Support high-priority, complex servicing campaigns from intake through partner alignment and execution and launch
- Monitor, report and analyze campaign results, surface key trends and identify opportunities to optimize results
- Identify and implement process improvements that streamline campaign development, execution and ways of working
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of relevant customer/loyalty /servicing marketing or agency experience a plus
- Strong understanding of marketing tactics, channels, campaign execution processes(MarketingForce) and performance metrics, particularly email and or direct mail marketing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate campaign performance into actionable insights and optimizations
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence partners across levels
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and take ownership
- Collaborative and adaptable team player who is eager to learn and comfortable with evolving priorities

The below represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Salary range
- $65,500 - $102,500 per year
