Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, walk across campus occasionally, climb stairs and endure extreme temperature mostly during move in and move out events

Shift

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and additional hours as needed in exempt role status; Must be able to work some evenings, weekends and holiday response which is dependent on situational factors

Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Housing team is seeking an accomplished, results-driven professional to assume a senior leadership role supporting the Director of Housing in overseeing university-owned housing facilities.

What You Will Do
  • Lead day-to-day operations for university-owned housing facilities, ensuring effective service delivery and a positive resident experience.
  • Manage logistics for move-in and move-out operations, ensuring smooth operations through effective staff scheduling and resource management.
  • Collaborate with Residence Life, Facilities Management, and campus partners to address student needs and maintain consistent housing operations.
  • Lead administrative processes, work order follow-up, keybox management, and resource coordination.
  • Support the Director of Housing in housing capital projects and implementing initiatives that improve housing services and student satisfaction.
  • Lead housing-related emergency response and coordinate timely communication with university stakeholders and community.
  • Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, service excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
