Job Summary

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is currently seeking to fill a Clinical Research Coordinator I position to work with clinical trials in neurological rehabilitation.

The primary responsibilities for this position include: assist investigators with identification and recruitment of participants; ensure that eligibility requirements of the protocol have been met for participants; coordinate flow of participant through clinical study or protocol, scheduling visits, monitoring all events related to participant and communicating any pertinent information to investigators and appropriate health professionals; monitor participant safety and general well-being; obtain, abstract and collate data including videos, reports related to studies from patient medical records; maintain and submit all reports, forms and updated records to groups required by study; assist in designing a system for organizing, planning and controlling workflow related to the conduct of clinical studies and protocols; monitor inventory of supplies and samples; transport samples between locations; learn basics of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures (SOP); maintain cooperative and professional relationships with all participants, other health professionals and study sponsors and/or monitors; and other duties as assigned.
