Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Full Stack Engineer to join the Enterprise Infrastructure Group located at Fidelity’s Westlake, TX office.

The Team:

  • The Infrastructure as a Service team designs, builds, and maintains automation that powers server and storage platforms across the enterprise.

  • The team develops automation and applications using Python, Golang, REST services, Angular, Node.js, and Ansible, leveraging tools such as AWX and AAP.

  • Work includes creating scalable solutions that streamline infrastructure deployment, configuration, and lifecycle operations.

  • The environment is highly collaborative, with a strong focus on delivering reliable automation, improving development practices, and advancing platform capabilities.

  • Team members frequently engage in problem solving across diverse technologies and are expected to contribute creatively to architecture, design, and continuous improvement.

The Skills You Bring:

  • Proven experience in full stack development using several of the following: Go, Python, Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, REST services, AWS, Ansible, and automation frameworks.

  • Background working with infrastructure automation, including writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles.

  • Familiarity with Bootstrap, HTML/CSS, shell scripting, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

  • Comfortable working across Linux environments and able to troubleshoot and debug within system and application layers.

  • Experience with CI/CD practices, automated testing frameworks, and iterative development in an agile setting.

  • Ability to deploy, customize, and integrate open-source tools and utilities.

  • Understanding of scalable design patterns, service-oriented or microservice architectures, and modern development practices.

  • Experience working in a DevOps environment.

Additional Backup & Recovery Skills:

  • Experience with enterprise backup platforms (Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam or similar).

  • Knowledge of backup strategies including full, incremental, differential, and snapshot-based backups.

  • Experience automating recovery workflows using Go or Ansible.

  • Understanding of disaster recovery including RTO/RPO and failover processes.

  • Experience with recovery testing and validation.

  • Consistently stays informed on emerging trends in automation, infrastructure, development frameworks, and cloud technologies.

  • Able to communicate design decisions and technical approaches clearly using available data and practical reasoning.
