About the U.S. Consumer Services – Business Development & Partnerships Team

Within U.S. Consumer Services, the Business Development & Partnerships team is focused on building strong partnerships with great brands; these partnerships differentiate our card products and deliver compelling partner-funded value to our Card Members, which makes membership essential.

About the MR, Status & Loyalty Partnerships team

The MR, Status & Loyalty Partnerships team, within the Business Development & Partnerships team, owns business development and partner management for Membership Rewards (MR) partners across the airline, lodging, points transfer, elite tier status, gift card, and Pay with Points categories.

The Loyalty Partnerships team is responsible for overseeing, managing and growing Membership Rewards partnerships for the Gift Card and Pay with Points programs. The team manages 70+ Membership Rewards partners end-to-end across several industries, including Retail, Dining and Travel, supports Cash Back program execution, and interacts closely with Membership Rewards, Business Development, Finance, Strategic Partnerships, GCS and GMNS.

Description:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Loyalty Partnerships, this Senior Analyst will support existing and new Pay with Points (PwP) and Pay with Reward Dollars (PwRD) partnerships. Key partners in the portfolio include Amazon, Apple Pay, PayPal, Grubhub, Dell, and Best Buy.

The Senior Analyst will support initiatives that drive broader enterprise loyalty goals and will ensure operational excellence is achieved by collaborating directly with partners such as the Membership Rewards team, Cash Back product team, Marketing, GCO/LOBCO, and Budget Management.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sr. Manager with day-to-day management of Amazon, including marketing calendar management and approvals, reporting, project management, budget tracking, and invoicing.
  • Support Sr. Manager with day-to-day management of other Pay with Points partners, i.e., Apple Pay, PayPal, Grubhub, Dell, Best Buy, etc.
  • Lead marketing reviews and approval process for partner and Amex marketing placements.
  • Support contract management/timelines of current portfolio of Pay with Points partners.
  • Support partner-facing deliverables/meeting materials.
  • Support execution of partner-related workstreams e.g., onboarding/offboarding, tech enhancements, testing, etc.
  • Own tracking and reporting of Pay with Points program.
  • Own operational and control management workstreams, e.g., PRSA, governance reviews, servicing.

Qualifications

  • Excellent relationship management skills essential to drive initiatives with external partners and cross-functional internal stakeholders
  • Project management experience and organization skills, with the ability to manage timelines and move multiple stakeholders along in parallel
  • A critical thinker with intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a “can do” attitude
  • Keen attention to detail with a passion for organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Budget management experience a plus
  • Willingness to learn and brings positive energy to the team
  • Has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience
