Risk Analyst
The Team
The Corporate Risk team is seeking a hardworking, solution-oriented professional to join the Control Tower team! In this role, you will evaluate the design and documentation of controls, write effective risk and control statements, and support a strong control environment across the enterprise. You will personify the Fidelity Leadership Principle of ‘thinks and works across Fidelity’.
The Role
The Control Tower sets standards for risk and control governance. This position within the Control Tower will assist in the creation and assessment of documented risks and controls statements, establishing relationships with business partners to support and maintain high quality of risk and control data, within Fidelity’s GRC tool, and monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators.
The Skills and Expertise You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience, including a strong understanding of risk and control documentation and governance.
  • Knowledge of financial services risk management and the regulatory environment, particularly within the investment management industry.
  • Deep knowledge of writing risks and control statements. Prior experience with control writing, testing and an understanding of risk assessments required.
  • Familiarity with GRC tools, Archer strongly preferred.
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to engage business partners to drive meaningful change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and present clear and compelling data analysis and insights to stakeholders.
  • Proven problem solving, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and respond nimbly to business needs.
  • Accountable for delivering results in an accurate, timely manner.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-team working relationships in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Promotes a culture of risk management by forming meaningful relationships and creating increasing awareness about the risk and control environment to enable more informed and proactive decision making.
  • Expert knowledge of MS office products such as Excel and PowerPoint

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50-56 per hour.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
