Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.

We are seeking two passionate and dedicated Dance Instructors to join our dynamic team this fall. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, high energy and truly enjoy teaching children ages 2-10. They will have a background in dance, cheer or theatre. We are looking for fun, dependable, high energy instructors, who are positive role models.

Classes are Tuesday and Wednesday mornings between 9am-11am and Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons between 2:30-4:30pm.

Training is provided as well as lesson plans and playlists.
Training will start immediately upon hiring.

Must have a car.

Duties
Learn simple choreography for different ages. All choreography is provided to you.
Most classes are ballet with some tap and jazz steps as well as some HIp Hop/Jazz classes for ages 2-10.
Create a high energy and positive dance environment.
Engage and connect with your little dancers.
Manage a classroom of up to 10 dancers and/or teach group classes.
Foster a love for dance through engaging activities and creative expression.
