Job Summary

Job Duties/Responsiilities:
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and platform best practices
- Ability to interpret social media analytics and use insights to improve content performance
Creative mindset with a strong eye for aesthetics, branding, and visual storytelling
- Assist with creating and scheduling engaging social media content
- Help manage social media posting across multiple platforms (i.e Instagram, TikTok, FaceBook, Pinterest)
- Assist with digital advertising and promotional campaigns
- Support strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales conversions
- Brainstorm and execute creative marketing ideas and campaigns
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Additional Information:
– Work in a creative artist’s home studio alongside the artist and two additional assistants.
- Studio is located in South Lexington on a quiet country road, approximately 17–18 miles from the University of Kentucky campus.
- The home is shared with one friendly dog and two friendly cats, so applicants should be comfortable working around animals.
- Assist with a variety of products, including handmade jewelry, ceramics, original artwork, books, vintage items, and creative supplies.
- Position includes a six-week introductory/trial period, with the opportunity for continued employment through the spring/summer based on performance.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and digital advertising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Comfortable using social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh content and marketing ideas
- Understanding of online selling, e-commerce, or social commerce is preferred
- Ability to analyze social media performance and apply insights to improve results
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
