SciTec seeks a candidate who will thrive in an environment where they can solve challenging engineering problems in support of critical national security objectives.&nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Implementing systems engineering processes aligned with IEEE 15288.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Designing and modeling software architectures for data processing systems.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Developing artifacts using Model Based Systems Engineering.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Mentoring other SciTec staff in systems engineering processes and methodologies.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Communicating professionally and effectively between customer representatives, program managers, software developers, and other members of the systems engineering team.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><h4>Requirements</h4><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering (including systems engineering), or computer science</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 4 years of professional experience in engineering, computer science, remote sensing, aerospace, or defense&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a systems engineer on software development programs</li></ul><ul><li>Two (2) years of experience specifically with MBSE and modeling</li></ul><ul><li>Two (2) years of experience developing system/software requirements&nbsp;</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li></ul>Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Domain experience with remote sensor systems or software architecture, especially experience with OPIR sensor processing</li></ul><ul><li>Systems engineering experience supporting programs in the defense and aerospace fields</li></ul><ul><li>Experience supporting prototypes transformation into production level engineering solutions</li></ul><ul><li>Additional professional experience in systems engineering beyond 2 years</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with the Cameo family of tools, specifically Cameo Systems Modeler</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with Agile software development methods&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in program management and project leadership&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Graduate degrees or coursework in Systems Engineering or related fields&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>An active SECRET DoD security clearance or higher&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;*Resumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.Colorado Residents: In any materials you submit, you may redact or remove age-identifying information such as age, date of birth, or dates of school attendance or graduation.
