<h3>Job Description:</h3>Job Overview:The Digital Solutions Software Engineering OSG team is looking for a highly motivated principal software engineer technical lead. This role involves developing high-performance, secure, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern software engineering best practices and experience in Agile software delivery.You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining quality software components for core and critical applications used throughout the organization. Additionally, you will help define, implement, and advance development practices, standards, and strategies, contributing to the modern engineering practice across our platforms and teams. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software components for core OSG applications.</li><li>Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of microservice-based applications.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.</li><li>Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices, standards, and strategies.</li><li>Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.</li><li>Advise and approve unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.</li><li>Work closely with product owners, chapter leads, and architects to influence technical improvements.</li><li>Investigate and share innovative practices with team members.</li></ul>Required Expertise:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a quantitative or computational field such as Computer Science, Information Technology. </li></ul><ul><li>8+ years of hands-on experience in building complex software solutions preferably working with investment management professionals. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders including technology partners and the business.</li></ul><ul><li>Full-stack software development knowledge preferably with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Batch and Kafka</li></ul><ul><li>Experience with testing software, including writing automated unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests. </li></ul><ul><li>Agile development practices that prioritizes the incremental delivery of working software and responds well to change in requirement scope. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to accept and adapt to scope changes incorporating it seamlessly. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment. </li></ul><ul><li>Kubernetes/EKS deployment and operations management exposure is a plus. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience leading development teams through mentorship, technical expertise, and technical excellence </li></ul><h3>Certifications:</h3><h3>Category:</h3>Information TechnologyFidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Principal, Full Stack Engineer

<h3>Job Description:</h3><h3>The Role</h3>Our teams build and contribute to Fidelity’s digital presence. As a Principal Engineer in the Search Platform team, you will help us build a search and content discovery platform that is powered by AI and supports millions of customer requests. You will be responsible for building, managing and automating cloud infrastructure that support our internal associates' and our customers' online search needs. This also involves using the latest AI/ML techniques to help improve search results. You'll have the opportunity to give ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills and learn new technologies and languages.
