Job Summary
Supervises the Regional Workforce Development Coordinators. Supervises the Center for Workforce Development (CFWD) daily operations and works with the Executive Director to ensure efficiencies are maintained and customer satisfaction (internal and external) is our focus. Assists the Executive Director in preparing reports and presentations to TBR’s Chancellor, Senior Staff, THEC and other state agencies as needed. This position may have the opportunity to work remote within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary. 
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>40% - Provides leadership and supervision of regional workforce development coordinators within the CFWD. Monitors budgets within CFWD. Assists the Executive Director with planning activities, to include workforce convenings and regional/statewide workforce training opportunities for TBR colleges. Represent the CFWD at events and meetings when the Executive Director is unable to attend. - (Essential)</li>
<li>30% - Tracking progress of regional/statewide workforce development projects (via TNWORKS or other sources) using project management software to ensure KPIs are met. - (Essential)</li>
<li>25% - Liaison with various internal TBR offices as needed, including Marketing &amp; Communications; Policy &amp; Strategy’s Data Team; Academic Affairs and Business &amp; Finance. - (Essential)</li>
<li>5% - Other duties as assigned - (Marginal)</li>

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in a related field • Five years of progressively responsible experience in a position leading teams and requiring planning, implementation and project management of short and long term projects • Proficiency with various artificial intelligence (AI) platforms 
Preferred Qualifications
• Masters Degree in a related field • Five years’ experience working in public higher education or a workforce development organization • Experience in writing, implementing, and evaluation of strategic plans 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively, to use good judgment, and maintain confidentiality. • Excellent organizational skills. • Proficient in using software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and Publisher to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports. • Proficient with various artificial intelligence (AI) platforms • Ability to travel required for required meetings – including some overnights. • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

General Summary
This is a full-time, 9-month faculty position. Responsibilities include instruction, course and curriculum development, professional development, service to students, and service to the college and community. The faculty member will facilitate classroom instruction; evaluate and monitor student progress; assign grades; provide academic support; maintain attendance and grade records; advise students on academic and career goals; support student retention efforts; and maintain required classroom and office hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Instruction: Teach the AESTHETICS course at the Chattanooga campus. Facilitate the classroom instructional process; evaluate and monitor student progress; assign grades; provide academic assistance to students; maintain attendance and grade records; counsel and advise students on career goals; work to retain students; maintain required classroom and office hours.
· Course and Curriculum Development: Participate in the selection of textbooks, equipment, supplies, and other learning resources; develop supplemental instructional materials; use current technology in preparation, creation and delivery of instruction; create and revise courses and/or curricula as needed; maintain updated course syllabi; develop and maintain a site on the college’s Learning Management System (eLearn) platform where class documents are stored (syllabi, classroom information, quizzes, tests, etc.) and available for students to access at any time.
· Professional Growth: Remain current within instructional field and technologies; acquire, maintain, and apply knowledge of current instructional methodologies and materials; attend scheduled college and division professional development and in-service activities; support related professional organizations; participate in the annual faculty evaluation process.
Service to Students: Comply with FERPA laws; participate in advising, recruitment, admissions, and orientation of potential students; assist students with job placement upon graduation; support student activities including SkillsUSA and NTHS.
· Service to the College and Community: Assist in recruitment; attend convocation and commencement exercises and participate in mandatory college programs; develop and maintain positive and cooperative relationships with colleagues; maintain an active program advisory committee; complete the annual Council on Occupational Education (COE) report for the program. Perform other duties as assigned.

· Familiarity with holistic support for students outside the classroom. These supports include Admissions and Records, Enrollment Service Center, TCAT Student Services, High School Programs, Recruiting and Orientation, Career Services, Student Support Center, Student Conduct, Student Life, Multicultural and International Services, Adult Student Services, and the Center for Access and Disability Services.
· Ensure that services and activities promote accessibility and reflect equity-minded practices.

· Provides student- and community-focused support in the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Division that aligns with the College’s core values.

Position Requirements
· Education: Graduate from a postsecondary institution with a diploma in Aesthetics or Cosmetology
Licensure: Possess a current Tennessee Aesthetics or Cosmetology license. Possess or be willing to acquire an instructor’s license.
· Experience: Three years’ experience as an aesthetician.
Preferred Requirements:
· Associates degree and full-time teaching experience
· More than 3 years progressive experience in the Aesthetics/Cosmetology field

· Knowledge of the Aesthetics industry and Aesthetics license processes; highly effective communication skills; high level of computer skills; willing to work extra hours to support college and community events.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Full-time faculty position, 9-month employment contract, requires a four-day workweek and includes a minimum of 37 1/2 hours per week. Other conditions of employment are described in the Chattanooga State Employee Handbook.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and according to salary guidelines of the Tennessee Board of Regents.

Work Hours: Monday – Thursday (2:00-9:30)
