      Adjunct Instructor Accounting (Pool)
    

GENERAL DUTIES

The practical nursing instructor, under the direction of the Director of Nursing, shall be responsible for the following areas including, but not limited to: planning, developing, initiating, and teaching the approved instructional program for practical nursing students in both the classroom and clinical setting; maintaining confidential, accurate and complete records on paper and electronically; providing individual evaluation of each student’s progress with counseling and appropriate recommendations when required; supervising students’ clinical experiences as scheduled; and maintaining good public relations with clinical partners. The practical nursing instructor will also assist with student placement and student follow-up; participate in recruitment of students; cooperate with outside agencies; work with program advisory committees; conduct visits to related business and industry; and establish and maintain good public relations within the college’s service area. Job Purpose:&nbsp;The overall purpose of the Instructor of English is to teach freshman composition (including dual enrollment at local high schools and at various campuses as needed), sophomore literature, learning support reading and writing, special interest courses, and independent study courses.
