Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Evaluate, design, maintain, modify, install, and test facility systems and process support systems. &nbsp;Ensure continued operational readiness of assigned systems, structures and components and support.</li><li>Initiate corrective actions or order plant shutdowns in emergency situations.</li><li>Monitor nuclear facility operations to identify any design, construction, or operation practices that violate safety regulations and laws or could jeopardize safe operations.</li><li>Develop and write sophisticated procedures for the modification and/or operation of facility, equipment, and processes.</li><li>Examine accidents to obtain data for use in design of preventive measures.</li><li>Direct operating or maintenance activities of nuclear facility to ensure efficiency and conformity to safety standards.</li><li>Develop, ensure adequacy of, and maintain configuration management and the technical baseline of multiple systems and component groups.</li><li>Support facility operations, maintenance personnel, &amp; project personnel to ensure assigned process systems &amp; equipment are operated, maintained, &amp; modified to meet operational &amp; research needs within the system applicable baseline, &amp; applicable standards.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements: <ul><li>Level 3: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or directly related engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution and 5 years of experience, or an advanced degree in the same discipline(s) and 2 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Level 4: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or directly related engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution and 9 years of experience, a Master's degree in the same discipline(s) and 6 years of relevant experience, or a PhD and 4 years of relevant experience.</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.</li></ul> Preferred Experience:&nbsp; <ul><li>Experience working in a nuclear facility.</li><li>Advanced degree in electrical engineering or directly related engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution.</li><li>Professional Engineer license.</li></ul> Job Information:&nbsp; <ul><li>The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($93,204 – $191,076) / Level 4 $111,888 - $229, 284).
