The Director receives and evaluates allegations of research misconduct, and manages the further inquiry and investigation into these allegations as the specific case requires. Works independently to implement FAS/SEAS, University, and federal research integrity and related professional conduct policies and regulations. Leads education and training efforts on research integrity and fosters an environment to support the responsible conduct of research. Job-Specific Responsibilities: Has primary responsibility for receiving, handling, and providing responses to allegations of scientific and/or research misconduct involving faculty, staff, post-doctoral affiliates or students within the FAS/SEAS community. Maintains currency on policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to state laws, federal regulations, and national trends influencing issues of research integrity and related professional conduct matters.</li><li>Serves as subject matter expert and provides advice to administrators, faculty and students reporting research integrity and related professional conduct matters.
