Reporting to a Director, Client Engagement, the Guinness Brand Advisor will develop trade relationships and interact face-to-face with distributors, retailers and consumers nationwide. Additionally, this role will have regular interaction with the Diageo stakeholders, Guinness Brand Team &amp; Field Marketing lead.Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Brand Advocacy.&nbsp;Represent brand(s) at distributor &amp; trade-focused events with education, mentorship, networking, and tastings, including Global Guinness Quality standardsAccount Management.&nbsp;Generate Guinness volume growth through retailer &amp; consumer activation. Commercial ownership of a set list of key On Premise accounts as well as new accountsTrade &amp; Consumer Education.&nbsp;Impart brand history, production, taste profile, and bar operations knowledge to clients, distributors, trade, and consumersDistributor &amp; Trade Engagement.&nbsp;Drive brand presence, performance, and advocacy in select On Premise accounts using strategic engagement activities and business-focused solutionsContent Development.&nbsp;Collaborates in developing industry-forward educational content to share with internal (agency &amp; client) and external (trade &amp; distributor) audiences as neededSocial Media Presence.&nbsp;Utilize social platforms to amplify brand initiatives and showcase portfolio expertise; growth of individual social presenceAgency Mentorship.&nbsp;Mentor local agency Beer Sales Representatives on brand knowledge and best practices, while instilling and developing a passion for the beer industryAgency Accountabilities.&nbsp;Complete accurate and timely management of agency initiatives including:<ul><li>Budget and expense management</li><li>Performance growth; delivery of individual KPIs and program activities</li><li>Reporting responsibilities; tracking and management of performance data using agency-appointed platforms</li><li>Participation in all internal training initiatives; expanding education and knowledge across all teams</li><li>Point of sale, asset, and warehouse management</li><li>Brand, market, competitive and customer insight curation</li></ul>The above is not a complete listing of all miscellaneous, incidental, or similar duties which may be required from day to day.The physical demands of this role require the following:&nbsp;<ul><li>Bending, squatting, crouching and reaching,&nbsp;climbing, kneeling, and stooping including to arrange and display point of sale</li><li>Frequent lifting and moving cases of product and other objects of&nbsp;50&nbsp;pounds or more</li></ul>The above is not a complete listing of all miscellaneous, incidental, or similar duties which may be required from day to day.&nbsp;<h4>Qualifications</h4><ul><li>Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred</li><li>Must be 21 years or older</li><li>7-10 years of experience in the beer, spirits, or hospitality industry, including On-Premise account management</li><li>Must have valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with clean driving record/background check</li><li>Cicerone Beer Server Certification (Level 1) preferred</li><li>Confident and outgoing with excellent personal presentation and communication skills</li><li>Passion and expertise for beer highly regarded</li><li>Ability to work remotely with flexible hours, including nights and weekends; ability to travel 50% of time</li><li>Ability to tailor communications for a variety of environments</li><li>Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media</li><li>Deep understanding of market and industry trends</li><li>Strong budget management skills</li><li>Desire for mentorship and willingness to mentor others, contribute to team culture</li><li>Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards</li></ul><h4>Additional Information</h4>The base compensation range for this job classification is between $95,000.00-$113,000.00 annually. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location.
