The EA is a critical member of the team who provides organizational support and ensures that the team's logistical needs are met and helps to promote a positive atmosphere and work culture.&nbsp;This role will be based at the Amex Tower in New York City.How will you make an impact in this role?<ul><li>Be a scheduler: maintaining calendars using a high level of integrity, managing across senior leaders of American Express.&nbsp; Proactively and independently review calendar for conflicts that might occur in future weeks and make necessary adjustments.</li><li>Be a communicator: serve as the initial liaison for internal and external senior leaders.</li><li>Be a team member:&nbsp;actively participating in team meetings, managing organization charts and maintaining departmental distribution lists.</li><li>Be a brand ambassador: Engage as needed with prospective internal &amp; external candidates. Represent our CVP and help with logistics for these candidates as they pursue careers at AXP. </li><li>Be an influencer: assisting peers with process-related questions and best practices.</li><li>Be an inventory manager: managing departmental assets, supplies &amp; services procurement and other administrative support tasks.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: Track record as an administrative assistant.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Excellent organization and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly calendaring.</li><li>Executive communication: Demonstrated ability to interact with leaders and stakeholders in a way that represents the team well and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.</li><li>Sound judgement: Able to juggle the multiple day-to-day responsibilities of the office and prioritize appropriately.</li><li>Proactivity: Ability to take the initiative to anticipate the needs of the management team.</li><li>Calm under pressure: Ability to stay in control of a complex workload and with a sense of urgency when needed.</li><li>Office Skills: Highly proficient Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.&nbsp;</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Amex Solutions: Knowledge of Platforms such as Concur, Reserve, Cisco/WebEx, Ariba, Navigator, Payroll, TechCare) preferred.</li></ul>Salary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected hourly pay range for this job requisition.
