This position provides theory and hands-on skills instruction to students in areas including, but not limited to troubleshooting, system architecture and protocols, software applications, programming, hardware assembly and repair, backup strategies, networking and configuring computers and related peripheral devices. The instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual students’ progress; maintain appropriate documentation of student progress; submit timely reports; and maintain close communication with correctional personnel and TCAT Northwest administration. The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Oneida/Huntsville is accepting applications for the position of part-time Automotive Technology Adjunct Instructor to be located at the Huntsville campus. Classes will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A high standard of personal and professional ethics with a sincere interest in teaching is desired.
Job Duties

<li>Prepare syllabi of courses of study with detailed lesson plans and follow the established curriculum of the Automotive Technology program.</li>
<li>Teach and instruct students through lectures, demonstrations, and/or audio-visual aids.</li>
<li>Administer tests to evaluate student progress.</li>
<li>Provide individual evaluation of each student’s progress with counseling and appropriate recommendations when required.</li>
