This job role will focus on metabolite profiling and characterization of drug candidates in vitro and in vivo to understand metabolic pathways to support drug discovery and development. More broadly, the scientist is expected to integrate this information with absorption, distribution and excretion data for candidate compounds for a full understanding of their drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic (PK) behavior. Supervision and mentoring of other scientists and/or laboratory staff will be required.
