This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing all early post-secondary opportunities for Jackson State Community College. This position manages all aspects of the dual enrollment and middle college program by establishing and maintaining partnerships with K-12 school districts in the Jackson State’s 10 county service area.
Job Duties
• Facilitate the implementation of initiatives and strategies related to dual enrollment and middle college.
• Work collaboratively with high school administration to develop the academic schedules
• Work with the academic deans to provide dual enrollment courses, including instructor staffing
• Develop and coordinate marketing, recruiting and outreach activities to enhance knowledge of and participation in dual enrollment and middle college programs.
• Provides orientations and support for new instructors, students, and parents
• Administer the Dual Enrollment and Middle College Scholarships

POSITION SUMMARY:&nbsp; The Assistant Director of Didactic Education is responsible in conjunction with the Director of Didactic Education for the oversight of all aspects of the Didactic phase of the Physician Assistant Program. It is expected that the Assistant Director of Didactic Education provides effective leadership toward consistently meeting program and student learning outcomes related to the didactic phase of the program. The Assistant Director of Didactic Education will work with the Director of Didactic Education and other members of the PA faculty to ensure that the program’s didactic phase is in compliance with all ARC-PA Accreditation Standards.
