Job Summary
The Federal Work Study: Student Videographer/Photographer works closely with the Video Production Specialist and other Marketing and Communications Department staff as assigned to develop video content that informs and inspires for digital and multimedia platforms, including but not limited to: social media, YouTube and broadcast. With keen attention to detail, The Federal Work Study: Student Videographer/Photographer supports the video and photography projects of the MarCom team. The Student Videographer/Photographer will play a collaborative role in strategic marketing and communications efforts to tell a cohesive and compelling story in alignment with the mission and vision of the College. 
Job Duties

<li>Assist Graphic Designer with photo library and organization</li>
<li>Create digital posters and flyers for use on campus TVs</li>
<li>Fold, organize, and deliver programs and other printed materials to departments around campus</li>
<li>Assist Graphic Designer with graphic projects using graphic design software</li>
<li>Assist in taking photos at college events and for marketing projects</li>
<li>Assist with graphic displays and promotional items</li>
<li>Assist with social media posts and support</li>
<li>Video and testimonials around campus of students and activities to be shared on social media</li>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.

FWS Fall 2025, College of Fine Arts Media Center Specialist

As a director of visual media, you will oversee the creative team and produce photography and video content under strict deadlines. You will research, write, and edit projects for screen and online platforms, as directed by the executive director of visual media in collaboration with public relations (PR), marketing, creative direction, and other departments. You will also work closely with communications managers, production managers, photographers, videographers, editors, and graphic artists to ensure each project is completed on time. Responsibilities also include supervising the lead executive videographer, executive editor, sound technician, executive motion graphics artist, and executive production coordinator. Additionally, you will review, research, and evaluate ideas for requested content and interviewees, and commission vendors for video editing, audio sweetening, transcriptions, translations, makeup, and production assistants.In this role, you will collaborate with staff to plan and carry out all requested department productions, ensuring high-quality results for each project. You will implement and modify leading industry practices for visual media within the SCAD environment, organize shoot schedules, and serve as the on-site producer for events. Responsibilities also include the supervision of project progress from production through post-production, approval, completion, and delivery. You will approve all media before further review and collaborate with the PR and marketing teams to distribute materials.
