The anticipated start date for this 9-month position is August 15, 2026. Qualification and Responsibilities: The School of Journalism and Media seeks applicants for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sports Journalism. The successful candidate will teach courses in sports writing, reporting and editing, and other classes related to the applicant’s skillset and experience. The successful candidate will lead, teach, and mentor our students to work in professional settings and produce award-winning work on a campus with more than 20 varsity programs and an SEC Network affiliation. Job Summary
The Men’s Basketball Team Photographer is a college work study position reporting to the Coach, Jarrett M. Stephens. The Team Photographer provides coverage taking photographs and videos of events associated with the Men’s basketball team.
Job Duties
<ul>
<li>Taking pictures and video at games, practices, community service events, award ceremonies, etc.</li>
<li>Downloading content immediately following the event</li>
<li>Collaborating with the Sports Information Director and Social Media Specialist on creating content</li>
<li>Camcorder operation on game days</li>
<li>Some travel may be required</li>
<li>Professional dress is required on game days</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College. 
</li>
<li>Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position. 
<ul>

<li>Applicant owning their own camera is a plus
