This team collaborates with various business partners within the American Express Finance organization, and oversight groups, as well as external parties.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform end-to-end analysis of cross currency exchange (FX) rate risk and recommend hedging actions</li><li>Coordinate with Global Treasury Controllership and Global Treasury Operation teams on execution and reporting of FX risk economic hedging</li><li>Monitor market conditions and prepare market risk management (FX and IRR) metrics and trends for senior management and various oversight committees</li><li>Communicate exposure management analysis and provide recommendations to senior management</li><li>Collaborate with Asset-Liability Management, Funding and Capital Market teams on interest rate and FX risk hedging assessment and execution</li><li>Coordinate with 2nd line oversight and 3rd line audit teams on exposure management activities and address their inquiries</li><li>Organize, prepare and present analysis and discussion at different oversight committees</li><li>Develop process documentation</li><li>Participate in firm-wide stress testing (CCAR, ICAAP) analysis</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li>BA or MBA degree with focus on Finance or Accounting, or MS degree in Economics or related analytical fields with proven finance and accounting background </li><li>Knowledge and experience in interest rate risk and exchange rate risk assessment and mitigation activities</li><li>Knowledge and experience with cash flow analysis and valuation of financial instruments, including derivatives such as interest rate swap and currency forward contracts</li><li>Familiarity with financial statements (balance sheet and income statement)</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills</li><li>Experience in process documentation</li><li>Knowledge in database queries (SQL), TM1 system and Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Strong analytical skills with attention to details and specifics of each analysis</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li>3+ years of relevant work experience preferred</li></ul>This role reports to Director, Treasury, Global Exposure Management.Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue&nbsp;visa sponsorship for this position.Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
