Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Logistics and Supply Chain Management adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes. The applicant will also attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to the established deadline, and will communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to their assigned coordinator/dean. Salary is $560 per credit hour. Workload adjustments will be made for faculty teaching classes where the number of contact hours exceeds the number of credit hours. Additionally, a travel stipend may be negotiated at time of hire for faculty traveling more than 80 miles each week to teach their classes.       Part-Time Faculty - Health Information Management
    

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Registrar and Director of Admissions &amp; Records, the candidate will work collaboratively with all departments to support the adoption and effective use of Dyersburg State Community College’s CRM platform, Slate. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining an accurate CRM architecture that reflects Dyersburg State’s student recruitment/admissions funnel and student success retention strategies. The CRM Administrator facilitates development and delivery of enrollment management print and email-based communications. They will also contribute to development and roll out of CRM system by training/educating new users, providing input to technical solutions, exploring/implementing previously unused features, and serve as the CRM expert and also maintaining Axiom.
All duties require tasks to be performed at a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Daily administration and support of Dyersburg State Community College’s CRM platform including but not limited to managing user setup, profiles, and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, portals, etc.</li>

Salary: $500-$700 per credit hour&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and has four campuses that serve students from eleven counties. Motlow positions are contingent upon funding availability and budget approval.
General Function:&nbsp;
EMT-Basic Instructor/Coordinator shall mean an individual responsible for the overall coordination of the EMT-Basic Program. The individual shall act as a liaison between faculty, the sponsoring agency, students, the local medical community and the Division of Emergency Medical Services. The individual is also responsible for the delivery of didactic material, demonstration of the psychomotor skills, verification of skill proficiency, and the recruitment and continued development of faculty to meet the needs of the institution.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
2. Currently licensed as a Tennessee EMT-Paramedic, without history of revocation, denial, or suspension of licensure.
3. Experience. Pre-Hospital: Minimum of two years practicing in the pre-hospital environment or one hundred fifty (150) hours of EMS instruction acceptable to the Board. Administrative: Minimum of one year in EMS educational administration.
4. Completion of an EMS Board-approved Instructors’ course.
5. The provisions of subparagraph (a) shall not apply to any EMT-Basic Instructor/Coordinator authorized by the Division prior to July 1, 2001.
&nbsp;Authorization Renewal shall be contingent upon:
1. Assisting with at least seventy-five (75) hours instruction (EMT-Basic or EMT-IV or EMT-I or EMT-P) on an annual basis.
2. Maintaining current Tennessee licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic.
3. Maintaining current CPR instructor endorsement.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and the approved course syllabus; Teach dual enrollment classes at area high school as assigned; Travel to multiple campuses as assigned</li>
<li>Collaborate collegially with faculty, Department Lead, and curriculum chair about curricular and programmatic issues and needs</li>
<li>Collaborate collegially with faculty, administration and staff to support the students, strategic plan, goals and business operations of the college; Work collegially as part of both discipline-specific and multidisciplinary teams</li>
<li>Stay abreast of current developments in the teaching discipline including scholarship, creative research, disciplinary and interdisciplinary activities that focus on the boundaries of knowledge, community-based scholarship, creative activities, and the development of cutting-edge teaching approaches</li>
<li>Teach up to 12credit hours per semester as assigned</li>
<li>Maintain availability for meetings with students and colleagues as needed throughout the semester.</li>
<li>Respond promptly to the Dean’s requests</li>
<li>Submit all requested paperwork timely and completely</li>
<li>Perform all duties in accordance with both TBR and MSCC policies</li>
<li>Attend Adjunct Orientation</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, to include college database (Banner) management, word processing, creating spreadsheets, e-mail, and the internet</li>
<li>Knowledge of confidentiality statutes and policies as they apply to FERPA</li>
<li>Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, with students, fellow employees, college administrators, and other stakeholders</li>
