<li>Maintains accurate student attendance records, grades, and other required records in compliance with federal FERPA regulations.</li>
<li>Attends all faculty meetings, college assemblies, professional development and orientation activities, and other meetings as called by the President, Dean or Department Chair.</li>

Title: Temporary - Evening Coordinator, Dickson Campus
POSITION SUMMARY Serves as the primary point of contact for basic administrative, instructional and facilities support for evening operations at the Dickson Campus. Acts as an evening resource for faculty, staff and students and responds to emergencies during evening hours.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Is the principal point of contact for evening operations. Facilitates the use of campus facilities during evening hours. Acts as a liaison between campus director, faculty, staff and students to facilitate evening operations. Ensures that the campus is supervised and high traffic areas are overseen during evening hours.
In the event of an emergency during evening hours of operation, executes campus emergency procedures and communicates with various college personnel and/or external agencies as the situation and/or protocols warrant. Job Summary
This is a part-time, grant-funded fiscal year staff position. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to coordinate and operate our Southwest Health Careers Express. This role involves conducting outreach, managing logistics, driving the mobile lab, and delivering engaging educational experiences to children and young people at community events, schools, and partner organizations.
Job Duties
<ul>

Program delivery and engagement:
<ul>
<li>Facilitate interactive healthcare career exploration stations for students (K-12)</li>
<li>Deliver mini learning sessions, leads hands-on activities across multiple healthcare themed stations</li>
<li>Create a welcoming an inclusive environment that fosters curiosity and learning</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
Outreach and scheduling:
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with schools, community organizations, and event planners to schedule visits</li>
<li>Promote the lab’s offerings through community outreach and engagement initiatives</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
Logistics and Operations:
<ul>
<li>Drive the Mobile Healthcare Exploration Lab to and from events</li>
<li>Set up and break down learning stations, ensuring all materials and equipment are organized and functional</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe environment within the lab</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
Reporting and Documentation:
<ul>
<li>Track attendance, student engagement, and learning outcomes</li>
<li>Submit monthly reports detailing program activities, success and challenges</li>
<li>Presents ideas for improvement</li>
</ul>

Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Practical experience in health care (various fields may be applicable) 
</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record 
</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Previous teaching or educational experience 
</li>
<li>Background in community advocacy and public outreach 
</li>
<li>Familiarity with hands-on, interactive learning modalities 
</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      Part-Time: Healthcare Exploration Lab Coordinator
    

: Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Health Information Management adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes. The applicant will also attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to the established deadline, and will communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to their assigned chair/dean. This position reports to the Chair of Business &amp; Technology and the Dean of Arts, Sciences, &amp; Technologies.
Requirements of the Position
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach assigned courses for discipline in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
Working Conditions: Sedentary: Desk work; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environment controls to assure health and comfort.
Required Qualifications:
Transfer courses: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Health Information Management required.
Non-transfer courses: Bachelor’s degree with previous teaching experience or graduate work required.
Ability to communicate effective with students and other college personnel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
