In Africa — where the majority of malaria deaths occur — the primary vector of disease is the mosquito, Anopheles gambiae. The malaria parasite is transmitted through the bites of female mosquitoes, whose high reproductive capacity fuels malaria transmission. Therefore, targeting these insects (and the parasites they carry) holds great promise as a strategy for future disease control.The successful candidate will support the research of the Department and of the Catterccia Laboratory, focusing on parasite-vector interactions. Statistical Analyst/Programmer

The Director of Data Strategy &amp; Institutional Analytics leads the college’s advanced research, data analytics, and decision-support functions. This role provides high-level technical expertise, data modeling, and critical analyses to support institutional planning, program improvement, accreditation, student success initiatives, and community impact evaluation. The position reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Planning, and in concert with the Executive Director collaborates across academic and administrative units to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Required:
