The Expertise and Skills You Bring<ul><li>High School diploma, GED, trade school or equivalent required </li><li>0 to 3+ years of related facilities experience </li><li>0 to 2+ years of experience in a mission critical environment a plus </li><li>Experience with Building Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or Controls systems. </li><li>Licensed HVAC, pipefitter, plumbing credentials, or EPA certification. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction documents and O&amp;M manuals. </li><li>Proven ability to install, repair and maintain electrical circuits and related loads in compliance with the National Electrical Code and generally accepted industry practices. </li><li>Ability to develop and maintain procedures such as SOP, MOP etc. </li><li>The ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays. </li><li>Motivated by knowing the work you have done is critical for various components that have tremendous business impact for Fidelity. </li><li>Hard-working team member on a team of 8 to 12 engineers. </li><li>Continuously set the standard in terms of engineering excellence, while facilitating outstanding performance, workplace maintenance excellence and team coherence. </li><li>Proficient in PC applications specifically, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, CMMS and facility BMS systems. </li><li>Highly organized and diligent in balancing maintenance priorities and procedures. </li><li>Strong contributor with a collaborative work style. </li></ul>The Value You Deliver<ul><li>Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and Mechanical industry standards, protocols, installations, and best trade practices, along with heating and cooling, server, database, and network infrastructure knowledge, in large-scale, enterprise Data Center facility. </li><li>Performs all preventive and remedial maintenance work on building Mechanical systems to assure critical cooling, heating, and humidification requirements are met with minimal adverse business impact. </li><li>Demonstrates the ability to monitor multiple building systems, correcting deficient performance through BAS adjustments, on-site remedial maintenance and effective emergency response actions when required. </li><li>Advise and assist as necessary, vendors/contractors performing remedial repair activities. </li><li>Demonstrates the ability to work with and provide assistance to the engineering staff. </li><li>Applies tools, processes, procedures, and notifies superiors as appropriate to ensure the consistent flow of information and activities. </li><li>Complete daily log entries / update engineering staff via email. </li><li>Assist with all department projects, plans and improvements. </li><li>Support Fidelity’s ISO-14001 Environmental Management System, ISO-27001 Information Security Management and SSAE-16/18 regulatory reporting requirements </li><li>Demonstrates ability to switch to standby generators and bypass UPS systems when an electrical alarm or failure occurs, consistent with procedures, communicating all actions via proper communication channels </li><li>Finishing the critical maintenance on time and with attention to detail. </li></ul>
