The&nbsp;Senior Director of Business Finance, Sales and Business Services (SBS)&nbsp;is a key strategic partner to the Executive Vice President &amp; General Manager of SBS, responsible for driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and data-informed decision-making across the business unit. This role will lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, business analysis, and performance reporting for SBS, with a specific emphasis on revenue and strategic pricing. In addition, this position will act as a key business advisor to the SBS leadership team, providing analysis, insight, and recommendations on key business decisions and initiatives. The Senior Director of Business Finance, SBS will manage a team of analysts and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial accountability, optimize resource allocation, and support the division’s growth strategy.What You'll Do:<ul><li>Serve as a key business advisor and the primary financial advisor to SBS leadership, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and execution</li><li>Lead the development of the SBS annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans in alignment with corporate objectives</li><li>Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis of bookings and revenue, in support of achieving CIS financial objectives</li><li>Present financial performance updates and strategic recommendations to the CFO, EVP of SBS, and executive leadership</li><li>Oversee the design and delivery of comprehensive financial and operational reporting across SBS, including pipeline health, bookings, renewals, and services revenue</li><li>Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement</li><li>Develop and maintain financial models to support pricing strategies, investment decisions, and resource planning</li><li>Lead the creation and refinement of dashboards and scorecards to monitor sales performance</li><li>Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate program effectiveness, customer segmentation, and market expansion opportunities</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and decision-support tools</li><li>Manage and mentor a team of finance and business analysts, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and innovation</li><li>Build financial acumen across the SBS organization through training and partnership with department leaders</li><li>Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Professional Services teams to align financial planning with business priorities</li><li>Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, pricing optimization, and customer success programs with financial analysis and modeling</li><li>Coordinate with the Corporate Financial Planning &amp; Analysis team to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide financial goals and reporting standards</li><li>Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned</li></ul>What You'll Need:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field*</li><li>10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, and budgeting</li><li>5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing, supervising, coaching and mentoring teams</li><li>Experience collaborating, training and supporting sales or business units</li><li>Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on revenue forecasting, revenue reporting, commission planning and P&amp;L modeling</li><li>In depth understanding of GAAP, especially revenue recognition standards</li><li>Deep understanding of SaaS or services-based business models, including pipeline management, renewals, and customer lifecycle metrics</li><li>Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a track record of driving business insights and performance improvements</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders</li><li>Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the United States</li></ul>It's a Plus if You Have:<ul><li>MBA or CPA</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of business practices.</li><li>Experience with Workday, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, PowerBI, and CaptivateIQ, or similar tools</li><li>Strong marketing, business development, and negotiating skills</li><li>Experience with “Configure, Price, Quote” (CPQ) software</li></ul>*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.At CIS, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment in which the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and views of our employees, members, and customers are valued and respected.
