Position Summary: Pellissippi State Community College is seeking qualified contract instructors (s) to teach HVAC training classes for its Workforce and Community Development Department. We are specifically seeking an instructor for evening classes to be taught on an ongoing basis.
 Instructors work on a part-time, temporary contract to provide educational instruction for a specific class or workforce training. Instructors are expected to be subject matter experts on their topic, will be responsible for delivery of instruction, and may be responsible for developing instructional materials. Current and retired industry leaders and past military personnel with technical training and the ability to teach are strongly encouraged to apply.

POSITION SUMMARY This position is a nine-month faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction in Communication. This position may include opportunities to support Communication course leadership efforts, such as contributing to assessment or supporting adjunct faculty.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. <li>Demonstrated hands-on experience in automation and industrial maintenance, with at least three years as a maintenance technician or licensed (journeyman) electrician with an LLE certification, or ten years of documented expertise in industrial automation, robotics, or electrical systems.</li>
