Up to four positions are available, including one designated for a candidate with expertise in archaeology and the history of the ancient world, particularly the Mediterranean and the neighboring regions of transalpine Europe, the Near East, North Africa, and Central Asia.

Applicants with experience in provenance research and related fields—including the history of collecting, the study of the art market, and broader questions concerning the ownership and movement of cultural objects—are also encouraged to apply.
